Institute of Nanotechnology and Artificial Intelligence. The Scientific Research Institute of Nanotechnology and Artificial Intelligence named after N. Isanov was established by the rector’s order based on the decision of the Academic Council of Osh State University on June 22, 2023.
The Institute is a structural unit of the university, carrying out scientific research, educational, design and production, and commercial activities in the field of nanotechnology and artificial intelligence.
To achieve its objectives, the Institute performs the following tasks:
-Scientific support for the development of the real sector of the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of applied and exploratory scientific research;
-Conducting research aimed at applying new knowledge in nanotechnology and artificial intelligence to achieve practical goals and solve specific problems while considering aspects of environmental safety;
-Ensuring the unity and interconnection of science, education, and production;
-Efficient utilization of the scientific potential of the institute (university) to address the country’s priority economic tasks;
-Development of innovative activities in nanotechnology and artificial intelligence to create competitive scientific products and technologies oriented toward the domestic and global markets;
-Creation of conditions for the protection of intellectual property and copyrights of researchers and developers as a basis for strengthening and advancing science in the field of nanotechnology and artificial intelligence;
-Expansion of international scientific cooperation with foreign educational institutions, research centers, and companies to integrate into the global system of science and education and jointly develop scientific products;
-Assisting government authorities and local self-government bodies in developing departmental and regional concepts, strategies, programs, and mechanisms for implementing new technologies, modern devices, and instruments.
The mission of the Institute of Nanotechnology and Artificial Intelligence is to conduct advanced scientific research in nanomaterials, nanosystems, and artificial intelligence technologies, develop innovative solutions, and make a sustainable contribution to the technological development of the country through their effective integration into the economy, education, and social sectors.
Objectives of the Institute of Nanotechnology and Artificial Intelligence:
-Development of scientific research in the field of nanomaterials and nanostructures;
-Application of artificial intelligence models and algorithms in the study of composite materials;
-Application of artificial intelligence in the study of mathematical models of unbalanced vibrating machines or mobile robots;
-Creation and commercialization of innovative technologies;
-Development of efficient production technologies;
-Bringing AI+Nano solutions in the field of composite materials to the market, enhancing productivity and reducing costs;
-Creation of patents, prototypes, and pilot projects;
-Education and training of specialists in nanotechnology and artificial intelligence;
-Support of master’s and doctoral programs in the educational field 510200 “Applied Mathematics and Informatics”;
-Organization of laboratory practice and project work for doctoral students, master’s students, and undergraduates in nanotechnology and artificial intelligence;
-International and domestic cooperation;
-Establishment of partnerships with universities, technology parks, research centers, and business entities;
-Active participation in international projects and grants;
-Contribution to social and national development;
-Development of scientific and methodological proposals;
-Promotion of sustainable and environmentally friendly technologies;
-Facilitation of digital transformation and strengthening of technological security.
